Elisabeth Bath was completed and opened on 18 June 1906. Originally called Elisabeth Bath after the Austrian empress Elisabeth (Sissi), wife of the
Austro-Hungarian Emperor Franz Josef I. Since 1916 the baths have also been
known as Spa V. The Elisabeth Bath complex is the largest balneological
facility in the Czech Republic and provides a comprehensive spectrum of
treatments for an extensive range of indications. Treatments are based on
natural curative sources like thermal water, natural carbon dioxide and peat.
Individual care is provided by highly skilled, professional and experienced
medical staff.
At Elisabeth Bath we offer:
- out-patient physiotherapeutic treatment for adults under medical
prescription
- comprehensive spa treatment provision
- examinations by a spa physician (initial medical examination,
prescribed treatment and drinking cure schedule, check-ups)
